Composer - Mark Jones

Mark Jones is a well-respected performer, musical director and composer in the Melbourne theatre scene, and brings a wealth of musical experience to Heart. His credits include Confidentially Yours, Patsy Clines - Her Songs: Her Story, What's a Girl To Do?, With Music In Mind, Toni Lamond's Woman on the Move, Tony Barber's Who Am I? and Big Stuff! The Word and Music of Leonard Bernstein. As a performer, Mark has appeared on The Ray Martin Show, Hey, Hey It's Saturday, Good Morning Australia, In Melbourne Tonight and Carols By Candlelight as part of the acapella singing group The Phones. Mark's most recent position was as Musical Director of the highly successful musical comedy, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change at the Athenaeum Theatre, Melbourne (directed by New York-based director Andy Gale).

Mark is currently lectures Singing at the Victorian College of the Arts and is the Head of Music Theatre at the National Theatre School, Melbourne.
